Eleonora Farina: Before and after a World Cup race

Eleanor Flour
Adrenaline-filled mountain biking through mud and nature, immersed in an exciting race.

In Between The Races tells you about the breaks, the team spirit, the personal extravagances and the funny moments in life spent away from the races. In this episode we are in the company of Eleonora Farina. Life is made up of ups and downs. It is not only valid for bikes but also for emotions. The build-up of tension, adrenaline and dopamine surges, euphoria, frustration or race day devastation are all deciding factors. Athletes leave the tracks physically exhausted but often emotionally drained as well. Eleonora is aware of sensory overload, so she takes time to recharge between races, a very important strategy. A day of rest allows the body and mind to regenerate, to start from scratch.
