We have decided to respond comprehensively to a request that often comes to us: how do Decathlon bikes go? By experts in the sector they are a bit despised, due to their low cost which can mean lower quality, but for those approaching the mtb they could be the ideal choice.
Is it worth buying a Rockrider product? As usual there are strengths and weaknesses: the value is certainly the cost: many Rockrider models have everything a beginner biker needs. The defects could be, on the e-bike side, youth problems.
The main brand of Decathlon as for the MTB sector it is Rockrider, while BTWIN covers more a young audience. Let's start from the e-bike sector while, for the traditional MTB sector, I refer you to the other video-article published -> LINK.
ROCKRIDER 2021 E-BIKE RANGE
There are 8 e-bike models in total, three of which are specific for women. The top of the range is the Stilus, a model proposed in 2020 that tries to fill the gap that Rockrider has towards the most famous brands. In fact, it is the only full-suspension proposal that could bring the most experienced bikers closer while the others are simple hardtails, a type of bike that can only be used in pure and simple cycle paths.
So let's start with the Stilus, the only vehicle that uses Bosch drive units and components that can be exploited in intensive use.
