A real shame for Davide Palazzari who finished 24th in Les Gets qualifying, giving us hope for the final. But a mistake led him to leave the course and finish far from the leaders. Let's read Davide's post and the related video of the error.
DH RACE REPORT
POST BY DAVIDE PALAZZARI
It hurt me yesterday, not because of the result or anything like that, but because I finally felt competitive again. Things haven't been going too well lately when it comes to racing and I was starting to feel a little down. This weekend, although I still feel physically exhausted, I felt comfortable on the bike and the speed came easily. I arrived at the World Championships with high hopes and a good mentality, but I pushed a little too much in one section and bounced off the line. Very frustrating to get back on track pushing the bike by hand so as not to be disqualified. But that's the race.
I hope to hear these vibes again next weekend in Val di Sole for the grand finale. It was still unreal and the crowd was CRAZY: I've never experienced so much noise on the track. Thanks @federciclismo, thanks @rogueracing_team, thanks @tcbikecoaching and thanks @ loicbruni29 for the masterclass.
