The Enduro Sports Organization (ESO) alongside Finale Outdoor Region is pleased to announce that a second Italian race weekend has been added to the 2020 Enduro World Series (EWS) event calendar. vast network of trails that develops on the territory of Pietra Ligure and Val Maremola on 19-20 September. The Pietrese race weekend adds to the appointment with the Rider Trophy, a team race for amateurs, scheduled for Saturday 26 September, and at the Bluegrass Finalenduro (EWS Pro) on Sunday 27 September in Finale Ligure.
The Final Outdoor Region has hosted an EWS competition every year since the championship began in 2013. Today's announcement is a further example of the territory's continued support for EWS athletes and teams and the willingness to work together to bring safety and sport first. Hence the decision to postpone the appointment with the large exhibition area and with the activities of the FLOW Festival to 2021.
The revised program sees the second EWS-E race of the year moving on the splendid trail network that surrounds Pietra Ligure on 22-23 September, placing itself between the two Italian stages of EWS. This shift was designed to ensure maximum social distance during individual events and not to create too much pressure on the localities. The three Italian events will take place over 10 days to give athletes, local staff and the media time to move safely around venues in accordance with local government guidelines.
