Here we are! The Dolomiti Paganella Bike Area, the flagship of the bike offer in Italy, is ready to kick off a new and exciting season. On Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd May the trails of the bike parks in the Molveno, Fai and Andalo areas will open to the public.

In detail, the opening of the Molveno Zone has been confirmed, with its Big Hero, Blade Runner and Goonies tracks. Consecrated for lovers of MTB descents, the Molveno Zone is the easiest and most accessible Bike Park area of the Paganella plateau. Free access also to the entire Fai Zone, with tracks of different difficulty and style: from Peter Pan and Easy Rider for an intermediate / expert level up to tracks for real DH experts such as Apocalypse Now and A Clockwork Orange. Last but certainly not least, the gondola lift that starts from Andalo (1.040slm) will be opened to be able to reach in a few minutes the Dosson refuge (1.450slm) from which the iconic Willy Wonka route starts: a descent of 4.400 meters, through a flow trail of medium-easy difficulty that combines safety and fun for everyone, from the novice to the expert, through a sequence of suggestive passages in the woods and the now multi-photographed "snail".

Bikers will find perfectly prepared routes, brand new bike transport systems on the lifts, charging stations, the MOWI bike app to keep updated on the conditions of the tracks; the possibility to buy the bike pass online and much more. But above all, a perfect organization that can guarantee everyone the necessary security at this particular moment.
Also this year the collaboration of all bikers and guests who will use the ski lifts to enjoy a summer season in complete safety will be essential. How to do? Just follow 3 simple rules: use of the mask (except when practicing your favorite sport), interpersonal distancing and maximum attention to the information provided by the cableway companies at the ticket offices and boarding points. The capacity of the cabins will be reduced to 50%, while the chairlifts without cover will be able to travel at full range. Lifts and trails will be open on Saturday 22 and Sunday 23 May, and then stop during the following week and take advantage of the break for the latest reshapes and improvements .
