This must be why many agonists organize intense training sessions and material tests here, while more and more enthusiasts plan their tours and adventures in this region.

It is in fact now clear that Liguria is a region that attracts national and foreign bikers, characterized by many different places where it is possible to find services dedicated to them and trails maintained by increasingly expert and attentive trailbuilders.
Dolceacqua is one of these places, a small medieval village a few steps from France. This closeness immediately influenced the local team, with a growing interest in the "sparkling" enduro scene of the Côte d'Azur.
Over the years, rallies and competitions have been organized in this portion of extreme Western Liguria, including the DOLCENDURO, a competition renowned for being more bitter than sweet, endowed with a character that has created an almost intimidating reputation around the competition, so much so that it has been chosen by athletes dedicated to international competitions to carry out an initial assessment of their training status and the preparation of the vehicle. In recent years the sporting event has suffered an interruption due first to prohibitive weather conditions and finally to the spread of Covid. Today the DOLCENDURO makes its comeback, restarting from the debut steps when the goal was to have fun on the trails together with old and new friends, experimenting with one's limits, but without exasperation. The inspiration comes from the first Italian enduro races, where amateurs and agonists were divided only by the classification.
This year the organization has therefore designed a race track that is less demanding in terms of length and height difference but which contains all the elements to compete and challenge the other competitors; a "cheerful but not too much" test bench to officially kick off the 2023 enduro season.
Still on the subject of territory and places dedicated to riding the race inaugurates the Italian/French collaboration for the newborn network of paths called: "Union Trails Area".
“Dolcenduro”, “Enduro du Bois Noir” (April 16, Breil-Sur-Roya-F- organized by VC Breil), Enduro des Merveilles” (October 01, Tende-F- organized by Haute Roya VTT Club) and “Enduro del Mediterraneo” on December 10th in Bordighera (organized by Supernatural Racing Team) will be the four races collected in a trophy dedicated to the creation of this new area, which unites the French and Italian Roya Valley with the Italian border valleys, to offer in all seasons impeccable routes and localities equipped with quality, hospitable and authentic services.
The first appointment is in Dolceacqua (IM) on February 25th and 26th with the DOLCENDURO, open to MTB and E-Bike.
The program includes reconnaissance/tests of the race course on Saturday 25th and the race for Sunday 26th, consisting of 3 special stages, 31km and 1.300m D+/-, reduced to two PSs for the Juniors category and 1 PS for Beginners .
The race is registered in the FCI calendar with the ID for the MTB and ID for the E-Bike.
