Magic Bike by Decathlon, an electric bicycle concept (means developed only on paper) that anticipates future solutions: the first images of the Decathlon Magic Bike serve to show technologies that could soon become reality in the models of electric bicycles for urban mobility that French company could propose.

INTEGRATED GEARBOX

Long last! One might say. The design, while striking, follows the lines of other concepts we've seen. It eliminates the top tube to make getting on and off the bike easier and also the seat stays. It has two generous "baskets" for carrying the load, one in front and one behind.
The battery would be integrated into the down tube and, at first glance, would have a motor in the bottom bracket and a transmission system with gearbox integrated into the hub, there being no trace of a rear derailleur.

A single brake lever, screen on the stem and release with cabinet. Only brake to brake uniformly in front and behind: as a purist I clear my eyes but for basic users it could work.
A large digital screen is integrated into the power supply which shows all the necessary information. Both the configuration and the data of each ride with the Magic Bike. Excellent lighting system. We will see how many ideas shown in the Magic Bike will become reality.
