Since his legendary victory at the 2011 World Championships, the XNUMX-year-old Englishman is also known in the cycling world as Redcar Rocket.
Danny Hart owes his fame to the two titles obtained at the UCI World Championships in downhill, to the first place obtained in various World Cup races and to his ability on muddy and steep sections, of which he is a specialist.
In 2019 he managed to position himself on the podium in every World Cup competition and, having meanwhile become the father of a little girl, from 2021 he will join the Cube Factory Racing team of downhill with a long-term contract.
Friendly cooperation is also of utmost importance to Cube and the long-term perspective is clear evidence of this, said Marcus Pürner, founder and owner of the company. “Creating a bicycle from downhill specific to the races for 2021 highlighted the desire to take our team to the next level. Now, thanks to Danny, we can count on a driver capable of imposing himself on his opponents with a clear lead and allowing the team to establish itself at the top world levels, allowing us to demonstrate that our product range is up to the challenges posed by the downhill and that the bicycles offered to our customers are tested by professionals and of the highest quality.”
The team also counts the presence of the five-time German champion, Max Hartenstern, eager to join the world elite and for whom Danny's experience will also be extremely useful.
Max has already collaborated on the development of the new TWO15 series.
Last October, in conjunction with the UCI Mtb World Championships downhill, Cube has launched the new bicycles for this discipline: both in the agile 27,5″ aluminum model for the bike parks and in the very fast 29 inch carbon racing variant, TWO15 represents the ideal companion for every cyclist.
