An ambitious goal that inspired the development of the new range of Rival Pro protections for mountain biking, designed for the most demanding riders looking for maximum protection without compromising on pedalability.
For the design of the new RIVAL protections, Dainese has once again taken inspiration from nature. Auxagon technology, already the soul of the Trail Skins family, refers to the natural auxetic forms, materials that have unique characteristics when subjected to stress. The peculiarity of the auxetic forms, applied to a protector, is the ability to expand in any direction and to stiffen when subjected to a stress such as an impact, assuming the characteristics of armor. All with a perforated surface that on the Rival Pro reaches 45% of the total surface, for extremely effective air and heat exchange even at low speed.
The supreme representative of the RIVAL family is the Rival Pro Knee Guard, capable of increasing the protection against impacts and falls thanks to the Pro-Shape 2.0 hybrid protection, which in addition to the texture inspired by the natural auxetic shapes, incorporates a central metal plate derived from the developed sliders by Dainese for the MotoGP ™ suits, bringing for the first time in the world of riders the steel that protects riders in the most extreme motorcycle competitions.
