On Sunday 18 September the new hunting season in Italy began and, in the Treviso area, a 48-year-old cyclist DB was shot by a hunter in Via Erega in Castelcucco. As reported by "La Tribuna di Treviso", the man had to call an ambulance on the spot because the lead shot had lodged in his forehead.
The person who shot it disappeared and the incident took place in a stretch of open countryside. Taken to the emergency room, the amateur cyclist residing in Fietta (Pieve del Grappa) was treated. Man is not in danger of life.
