The great Corrado Herin, winner of the World Cup of Downhill in 1997, died today in a plane crash. Flying, together with mountain biking and snowboarding, was the great passion of the Aosta Valley, a passion that unfortunately cost him his life.
Corrado Herin's ultralight aircraft crashed into the woods near Torgnon, a ski resort in Valtournenche where the closing of the ski season was celebrated today.
Together with Corrado Herin another person was involved who is seriously injured.
The entire editorial staff of 365 clings to Corrado's family.
