After kicking off the updated aluminum platform with the CAPRA Uncaged 9 “limited” version, YT now also offers a Core model with the new frame design molded from hydroformed aluminum.

The GOAT Core 2 comes in two purpose-built options: a 29-inch build
and an MX build (mullet).

GEOMETRY AND FRAME
As is the case with its carbon counterpart, the CAPRA hydroformed aluminum is designed with two
different playing fields in mind. Designers and engineers have created purpose-built seat stays and custom suspension kinematics - shorter chainstays and higher final feed for the MX build versus longer seat stays and slightly reduced progression for the 29er version.
Both frames have a steeper seat angle, a more open head angle and greater reach than the award-winning predecessor. The pedaling kinematics have been significantly improved, while the suspension capacity has been improved and riders enjoy a better fit and position on the bike. The aluminum version of the GOAT features an asymmetrical chainstay that improves the weight-stiffness ratio. The new GOAT Core 2 will be available in five different sizes from S to XXL.

FITTINGS AND SPECIFICATIONS

In both mountings, 29 ″ and Mullet, YT features 170mm suspension thanks to the quality of FOX's 38 model. The suspension package is completed with the new FOX Float X Performance with 170mm (27,5 ") or 165mm (29") of rear travel (depending on wheel size). Gearbox entrusted to SRAM NX and SRAM Code R brakes with 200mm discs. A plus point is definitely the Crankbrothers Synthesis Enduro alloy wheelset.
