"Mountain biking has changed exponentially in recent years. Events have increased, organizational models have evolved, and consequently the priorities of athletes, teams, and regions.“, He explains Michele Mondini, coordinator of the Italian Internationals. "We have always tried to interpret these changes and transform them into opportunities: by building quality events, by talking about sport, its protagonists and the places that make it unique.".

Over the course of ten years, the Internazionali d'Italia Series has hosted some of the biggest names on the international scene and offered many young Italian talents a springboard towards the World Cup. This achievement was possible thanks to the trust of local organizers, the support of technical and institutional sponsors, and the passionate work of those who believed in the project from the very beginning.
"Today we believe the time has come to pass the baton. The current context requires central and solid leadership, which only the Federation can guarantee, to adapt the cross country Italian to this epochal change. At the same time, it will be essential to strengthen ties with international institutions, in the interest of the entire movement.,” conclude Luca Carton, CM Outdoor.
CM Outdoor leaves the leadership of the project with the awareness of having contributed to renewing the image of the cross country Italian, and with the hope that this heritage can continue to grow in new hands, strong in vision, passion, and expertise.
