A weekend of pure adrenaline on the paths of Cervino Ski Paradise, which between Friday 21 and Sunday 23 July will welcome over a thousand sportsmen ready to divide their time between the second edition of Cervino Matterhorn Ultra Race, trail running around the Gran Becca, and Maxiavalanche, a descent on the mountain bike with mass start departure.

The technical and varied routes offer an unmissable experience for lovers of two wheels, as well as the big names in the discipline who have responded positively and are expected on the starting grid.
The favorites for the men's race are Olivier Bruwière (third in the Mégavalanche de l'Alpe d'Huez), Denis Maël (fifth in the Maxiavalanche d'Auron), Glenn Macarthur (second in the Maxiavalanche de Vallnord) and Team Sunn French Connexion with Théo Galy, French champion in 2020, Tom Escande and Thai champion Chinnapat Sukchanya. However, the regulars of the mass start will have to pay attention to the fierce group of Italians, starting with Giacomo Dodino, fifth in the 2022 Italian national championship, Simone Pais, Mirco Montagni, Davide Finetto and Marco Tamburini. In the women's field, the games for victory will probably be restricted to two competitors: the French Maelle Escudero and the Italian Vera Ramon.

The program of the event is intense. Saturday 22nd, starting at 13pm, the qualifying runs which will end around 17pm. Sunday 23rd, at 9.20am, the first heat of the Maxiavalanche which will start from Cime Bianche and will wind along a totally redesigned old track, which features really challenging passages and will take the riders to the heart of the town. At 12.30 the second and decisive stage, valid for the classification of the European Cup.
Once again this year the Maxiavalanche program will include a race reserved for young people aged between 7 and 15 and one for adults who use pedal assisted mountain bikes. The first heat of the under 15 Megakids will always start from Cime Bianche at 10.10, the under 13 race will instead start from Golliet lake at 10.30. Second round at 13.25pm and 13.45pm respectively. The e-bike test is instead set for 9.40 and 12.50, the favorites are the British Ben Moore and the Italians Giorgio Righi and Alessio Padovani.
