The Cervélo ZHT 5 is the first MTB of the brand, born with the collaboration of Jumbo Visma who is therefore preparing to enter the MTB world cup circus, presumably with Milan Vader, recently returned after the very serious injury.
The Jumbo-Visma team is interested in getting into MTB but first an MTB had to be created. So, Cervélo got to work and created Cervélo ZHT 5: a carbon hardtail that we will certainly see in action in the 2023 World Cup.
The frame weighs 870 grams (in size M) and the geometry is designed for 100mm forks: 69º head angle, 74º seat angle and 430mm chainstays. Sizes S, M, L, XL.
GEOMETRIE
The Cervélo ZHT 5 naturally uses internal cables and has opted for a 30,9mm seat post. Boost frame is designed to accommodate tires up to 2.4 ”. 73 mm BSA bottom bracket (threaded) and the SRAM UDH derailleur hanger could not be missing.
ASSEMBLIES AND PRICES
The new Cervélo ZHT 5 will be available in 2 versions, with the possibility of purchasing the frame kit in the future.
The cheapest configuration is priced at € 5.300 with SRAM GX Eagle AXS and RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork. The top of the range costs 9.999 euros and comes with SRAM XX1 Eagle AXS, RockShox SID SL Ultimate fork and Reserve wheels with DT-Swiss 350 hubs.
