Matthew Beers (RSA) and Christopher Blevins (USA) won the penultimate stage 6 with a time of 3 hours 26 minutes 48 seconds. Nino Schurter (SUI) and SCOTT-SRAM MTB Racing's Andri Frischknecht (SUI) finished second at 4min 7sec but regained the yellow jerseys and the overall lead, just 92sec ahead of Beers and Blevins. Tomorrow, during the last stage, they will have to pay close attention to the Toyota Specialized pair.
Former general classification leaders Georg Egger (GER) and Lukas Baum (GER) suffered a huge mechanical crash, which relegated them to 8th place. Now, overall, I'm third overall, five and a half minutes behind Schurter and Frischknecht heading into tomorrow's Grand Final.
Twist in the Women's Race: Current overall leaders Amy Wakefield and Candice Lill of the Seattle CoffeeCo faced major mechanical problems as they lost their top position in the overall standings and dropped to 2nd place! In the women Kim le Court (MRI) and Vera Looser (NAM) won stage 6 with a time of 4h 30m 2s and are now firmly in the lead in the general as well. Sofia Gomez Villafane (ARG) and Katerina Nash (CZE) of Team NinetyOne-Songo-Specialized finished second 12 minutes and 57 seconds behind them. Cannondale Vas Arabay's Greete Steinburg (EST) and Monica Yuliana Calderon Martinez (COL) secured their second consecutive podium finish in third place.

The Wilier Pirelli couple, Allemann and Rabensteiner, finish in 6th place while Porro and Nibali begin to feel tired and close again outside the Top 10 (17th place) losing another 2 positions (12th).
