CANYON launches the new SPECTRAL 29

We decided to design a bike for all trails, no matter what the terrain or the rider. We started with what we loved about the current and award-winning Spectral 27,5 and added more capacity and versatility.

With the new Spectral, we believe we have created a bike that
it can truly be the only one in your garage and meet the needs of any type of route. And, in case you haven't already guessed, it's a 29er.

What have we changed? Almost everything. “Almost” is the key word here. The Spectral 29 has the same 150mm travel and playful trail character as its sister with smaller wheels. Our famous Triple Phase Suspension kinematics make the Spectral 29 faster downhill, rewarding every pump and every jump.

But here's where the similarities end. The Spectral 29 CF has a brand new carbon frame, designed from the ground up. At 2600 grams, it is lighter and stiffer, giving the rider more direct control and greater safety. The geometry has also been reworked; more stability on the descent, greater efficiency on the climb, thanks to the more open steering angle and the
seat post more inclined. Plus, the longer reach gives you more space to control the bike.

Recognizing the huge variety of riders using full suspension trail bikes, we have carefully selected the specifications of the different set-ups to suit a wide range of riding styles.

The starting model from € 3.299, the Spectral 29 CF 7 is equipped with a Rockshox Pike Select RC fork with 35mm stanchions and 150mm of travel, which optimizes the angles of the bike to perfectly adapt to the trail riding. The “trail” product range is completed by the Spectral 29 CF 9 at €4.999 - with a 150mm travel Pike Ultimate fork, a top-notch SRAM X01 groupset and DT Swiss carbon wheels. And for those looking for maximum downhill fun there are the Spectral 29 CF 8 and Spectral 29 CF Ltd, with Fox 36 160mm forks, which open up the bike's geometry and
make it more aggressive. They cost € 3.999 * and € 5.999 * respectively.
