Cannondale presents the new Moterra Neo e-MTB

Cannondale today presents the new Moterra NEO, version 2022, one of the most iconic models in the e-bike sector.

Cannondale Moterra version 2022

Cannondale launches the new Moterra Neo e-MTB: equipped with Bosch Smart System technology, Moterra Neo is preparing to raise the standard again in the electric sector.

The Moterra platform will incorporate the Habit, creating a bike with 150mm of travel in the standard model while the LT version reaches 170mm front and 160mm rear. Wheel format 29 ″.

VERSIONS

"We designed Moterra Neo with every type of cyclist who could use it in mindSaid Scott Vogelmann, Cannondale Global Director of Mountain Product. "The e-MTB category is one of the fastest growing segments in cycling, allowing cyclists to explore and challenge the trails in a new way. With a forward-thinking approach and focused on the rider experience, we designed the Moterra Neo with a more powerful drivetrain, completely new features and an updated geometry. And, true to Cannondale's legacy, we've created a complete package that will change the dynamics in a category that reaches so many bikers.".

GEOMETRIE

Moterra Neo boasts a modern frame geometry that has been redesigned from the ground up: A 65 ° head angle and a super steep 77 ° seat angle.

The brand new Moterra Neo will be available in 3 different platforms: Moterra Neo Carbon, Moterra Neo Alloy and Moterra Neo LT (long travel) in sizes S to XL. Moterra Neo Carbon and Alloy will feature 150mm of front and rear travel, while the more robust Moterra Neo LT will feature 170mm of front travel and 165mm of rear travel with a mullet configuration (27,5 ″ rear / 29 ″ front) .

[email protected] I am a fan of everything that has 2 wheels: at a young age I practiced road and track cycling (Italian Allievi champion). At the age of 18 I passed into the cross country competing at national/international level as an Under23. Past Elite, I made the choice to take things more lightly from a training point of view, and my love for gravity disciplines was born, training me as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made passion my profession by managing 2 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Bike Center Elba and Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
