Renowned Italian component brand Campagnolo today announces its first gravel wheel model: Levante. This new model of carbon wheels, which takes its name from the eastern wind that blows over the Mediterranean, introduces a series of innovative technologies to the gravel world that make it suitable for different types of routes.

As with all the brand's products, both aesthetics and performance are fundamental in the development of the project. The new carbon fiber wheels therefore adopt a series of stylistic refinements that complement Campagnolo's innovative 13-speed Ekar gravel groupset, with a sober but stunning aesthetic. Beneath the neat exterior is a series of interior technological innovations designed to enable fast, fun and controlled driving, with a strong focus on handling and reliability.
Underlying it all is an engineering approach that doesn't compromise on durability and ease of maintenance, making these wheels the ideal choice for off-the-beaten-track adventures.
Levante wheels are now available for € 1.575 (with RL N3W body).
HULC CONSTRUCTION & C-LUX FINISH
Lightweight and easy to handle, stiff to tackle the uphill and reliable downhill, Levante wheels benefit from the innovative HULC (Hand Made Ultra-Light Carbon) technology, Campagnolo's ultra-light carbon. The HULC is used in the construction of the rim and is an evolution of Campagnolo's exclusive proprietary carbon molding process capable of
to create flawless rims that do not require additional paint coats. The optimization of the relationship between carbon fiber and resin, obtained thanks to the improvements in the molding process, guarantees a perfect combination of resistance, rigidity and lightness. This results in a reliable driving feel, which does not involve excessive effort, and an overall wheel weight of only 1485g, without compromising on strength.
The rim also sports a stunning Campagnolo Luxury (C-LUX) mirror finish. This C-LUX finish is so perfectly smooth that it requires no painting, saving weight. Applied
to the rim channel, as seen for the first time in the top of the range Bora Ultra WTO wheels, the scientific precision of C-LUX also helps to ensure the safest possible positioning of tubeless tires, improving their grip, ease of installation / assembly and reducing the risk of damage to the heels of the tires. Levante pairs this elegant finish with laser-engraved rim graphics that can stand up to the demands of gravel rides.
MINI-HOOK
The rim's “Mini Hooks” have been specially designed for these wheels and comply with ETRTO clincher and tubeless standards. The mini-hook provides a perfect match between the tire, regardless of brand, and the rim. This means a large contact surface with the ground and an improvement in grip and
comfort at lower pressures. The Mini-Hook system is fully compliant with ETRTO safety standards.
N3W ™
The perfect companion for Campagnolo's revolutionary Ekar groupset, the Levante wheel uses Campagnolo's Next 3 Ways (N3W) freehub body. N3W is a patented standard for freewheel body designed to accommodate Campagnolo 11, 12 and 13 speed cassettes. The pair of wheels is also available in a version with Shimano HG and SRAM XDR freehub body.
