Break the handlebars on landing at the EWS in Switzerland

Commencal rider Gautier Wendling comes out unscathed from a crash that could have been much more serious.

A video that any biker would never want to see: that is, a handlebar that breaks when landing a jump. We are at the Enduro World Series in Crans Montana, Switzerland, and the rider is Gautier Wendling, a young Frenchman.

In one of the technical sections of the course, Wendling looks for the narrow line by jumping over large boulders. But here is that on landing the handlebar breaks and the fall is inevitable. At the end of the article you can see the video on the tests.

What handlebar is it? Aluminum or carbon? In many I think that you have asked yourself this question (and at the moment we do not have a certain answer) but from the clean cut in the photo it seems to be aluminum, not carbon.
