Source: press release
The mountain bike legend and a team of professional riders show this spectacular world in an extraordinary film production. Just in time for the start of summer, Red Bull Media House and New World Disorder Films present a new film dedicated to sports and with the potential of a true cult movie. The world premiere of Brandon Semenuk's RAD COMPANY will take place on June 7 in Vancouver and the film will be available via the iTunes Store and on DVD and Blu-ray starting June 8. Within the approximately 50-minute film, cycling icon Brandon Semenuk and his team of select cyclists test the limits of freeride mountain biking and show their skills on unfamiliar terrain.
The idea behind this extraordinary film project comes from the successful YouTube series “Life behind bars” which is currently in its third season. The theme of "Life behind bars" consists in the continuous search by professional riders of the best freeride locations and in RAD COMPANY it reaches its peak. RAD COMPANY takes viewers on a cinematic journey to places like Fiji, Retallack (British Columbia) and Utah, masterfully blending the various mountain biking disciplines and showing the beauty, power and depth of this sport in a truly spectacular. The RAD COMPANY soundtrack will surely remind viewers of some of their favorite songs they listened to when they were teenagers.
“There are no words to explain how great it was to work with Red Bull Media House and NWD Films,” says cycling legend Brandon Semenuk. “The whole crew contributed to making my vision of the film a real reality”.
The world premiere of Brandon Semenuk's RAD COMPANY will take place on June 7 in Vancouver, Canada. Starting June 8, the film will be available on iTunes and in stores on DVD and Blu-ray. To see the trailer and for more information about the film, visit redbull.com/radcompany
