Brage Vestavik, a Norwegian freerider already on GT's payrolls, announced on his social media profiles on Wednesday that he has become a Red Bull athlete:
"An unreal moment. I am truly honored to join the Red Bull family. It seems like a dream to have Red Bull supporting me, motivating my own riding and building style! I can never thank enough who helped me get here! LET'S GO!”-Brage Vestavik
Although the 2020-year-old was already known thanks to his humane style, he entered the scene in XNUMX with the edit "Real MTB“: Between oversized drops and tricks in spots unimaginable to us mortals, he has obtained many awards and just as much fame. In addition, with this small 90-second video he obtained the invitation to Red Bull Rampage 2021.
Unfortunately he was unable to compete in the finals of the iconic event due to an injury during practice: landing short in a drop he flew over the bike, causing various fractures to his humerus and dislocating his shoulder (, here for the video). However, his passion for building and testing the line did not go unnoticed by Red Bull.
But don't worry, this bear has already started roaming the Norwegian woods again! With Red Bull backing him we can only expect more works of art from him, he will participate in some selected events and surely there will also be some great popcorn movies!
