The Bottecchia Factory Team was presented to the press at Tenuta Albertini in Zevio (Verona), a UCI team sponsored by Bottecchia and managed by KM Sport. Among those present Paola Speri and SoloBike and Mountain Bike Web Magazine.

Among the ranks of the Team many interesting athletes such as a certain Alberto Rossi several times tricolor in the youth categories who in 2014 will try to reach the highest levels among the Under23: "My primary goal is the Internazionali d'Italia and doing well abroad. We hope it will be a good year, so far the harmony in the Team is excellent". Alongside him we find Kevin Filipozzi, in his 1st year among the Under23s, who last year was able to place himself in 2nd place in the Lessinia Legend but the staff sees in him considerable room for improvement.

To complete the staff there are the 3 Elite experts who respond to the name of Nicola Risatti, Efrem Bonelli and Davide Finetto. Last year many saw in Bonelli a surprise with prestigious placings in the most important granfondo but for KM Sport it was not having believed in him since the 1st year of militancy in the Team. In this year he is called to the definitive improvement that seems to have already happened with hard winter training: "I thank the Finetto brothers who welcomed me into the team as a second child and made me feel an integral part of the team. I tried my best and now we hope to see great results". Risatti and Finetto are the jokers of the team: Risatti will be able to perform well in granfondo and marathon as soon as he finds the right athletic condition: "Last year was a difficult year with many problems. This year I also feel better mentally so I will try to go to the races also to have fun and for sure the results will come ”. Finetto is a Cross Country specialist and will aim to do well at the Internazionali D'Italia with a few forays into Enduro races given last year's victory at the Lessinia Legend, hinting that Bottecchia is developing a full-suspension bike for Enduro races.

A team that on paper could turn out to be a big surprise thanks to promising athletes who seem able to make the definitive leap in quality. Surely in the Team they will find all what they need… stay tuned!
