The eighth edition of the Bosch eMTB Challenge once again promises unmissable routes and trails for eBikers of all ages and abilities. In 2024, the popular event will stop in Italy, Germany and Switzerland and will focus on the fun factor, without forgetting the importance of riding technique, the ability to skillfully organize the use of the battery and to obtain points through orientation and level of training. To participate, all you need is a basic eMTB riding technique and a minimum amount of trail experience; the “Amateur” and “Advanced” categories guarantee fair racing conditions for all participants. New this year: the digital route guide in the orientation section.

In the uphill sections of the Bosch eMTB Challenge, in addition to physical condition and engine power, what matters above all is the riding ability of the eBike. The “No Feet Zone” must be mastered without placing the foot.

The Bosch eMTB Challenge will kick off on May 3rd in Riva del Garda (Trento), as part of the Garda Trentino BIKE Festival, before heading to Willingen, Germany's largest cycling festival, from May 24th to 26th. The last stop will be the Verbier E-Bike Festival in Switzerland from 15 to 18 August.

During the Bosch eMTB Challenge, eMountainbikers will be able to have fun on varied trails, against the backdrop of breathtaking landscapes. On average they will face approximately 35 kilometers and 1.000 m of altitude.

Orientation section, for the first time with digital maps
For the first time this year the popular orientation section will be available in digital format. Participants will be able to download GPX routes to their Flow app on the morning of the challenge and benefit from intelligent route guidance. Riders with eBikes without a Bosch system will be able to use compatible navigation devices and apps or receive printed maps.
