The appointment with the toughest mountain bike marathon in the world has been confirmed on the agenda: on June 17, 2023, the 13th edition of BMW HERO Südtirol Dolomites will be held in the incredible stage offered by the Dolomites, where ready-to-wear bikers from all over the world are expected. to become true HEROs.
The format is now consolidated: 86 kilometers and 4.500 meters of elevation gain of the longest track or 60 kilometers and 3.200 meters of elevation gain, these are the two routes of the mountain bike marathon that has revolutionized the mood of mountain biking.
Scheduled in the UCI international calendar, the race opens the gates to registrations starting from Monday 3 October at 8.00: all functions can be carried out by accessing the official website www.herodolomites.com where there is a bib that can become an ambitious dream.
The event, as already happened in the last edition, will be organized following the sustainability criteria promoted by the United Nations (SDGs), which will make it possible to achieve carbon neutrality.
HERO BIKE FESTIVAL AND HERO E-GOURMET TOUR
The HERO Bike Festival is also back, scheduled from 15 to 18 June, four days full of shows, music and entertainment, to better celebrate the race and the emotions it offers, with initiatives that also involve the little HEROs. Of course (it should be said) the environmental protection actions of FROM HERO TO ZERO are also foreseen for the festival, to which all the people involved are invited to give their contribution.
The big news this year will be the HERO E-Gourmet Tour, scheduled for the day after the race, or Sunday 18 June 2023: a relaxing day dedicated to the discovery of the Dolomites and its culinary traditions, which will take place by pedaling with the bike electric, in full HERO style!
