The opening date for the Bike Park Plan de Corones, a point of reference for all Gravity mountain bike enthusiasts, has been confirmed.

The date to mark on your calendar is Saturday, May 17, when the 2025 bike park season will kick off with the opening of the Kronplatz 2000 facility, which will provide access to the most iconic trail, the Herrnsteig, and all its variants, weather permitting.
Riders will be able to start having fun again and test themselves on one of the longest, most varied and challenging tracks of the national and international Gravity scene. In the following weeks, all the most iconic trails of Plan de Corones will be opened one after the other.
The local work team's attention is always at its maximum, so fans will find the tracks in perfect conditions. This will anticipate some of the juiciest news of the new season of riding about to leave.
New season, new projects
In fact, 2025 will see new signage, standardized across the entire trail network, as well as greater attention to safety, particularly in areas shared with other mountain users, such as pedestrians.
The trail builders of the Bike Park Plan de Corones are also working to create a new connection, designed specifically for the little ones, which will connect the exit of the Ruis cable car to the start of the Furcia trail. With a view to ensuring safety and fun for young bikers.
Everything will be ready for the event scheduled for the weekend of June 20-22, when the entire trail network will be accessible from the dedicated ski lifts. A big party with an event village set up on the scenic and panoramic summit plateau of Plan de Corones.
Events and competitions 2025
The South Tyrolean bike destination also presents its program of events and competitions for the 2025 summer season. There will be three events for competitive athletes, able to satisfy every taste and interpretation of mountain biking:
Enduro Tyrol: 13 14-September
Kronplatz King Marathon: August 30th, which will crown the king and queen of Plan de Corones
Italian DH Cup: 3 5-October
And for those who need to refine their technique and more, the Plan de Corones Bike Park will host the SAAC Bike Camps on the weekends of 12 and 13 July and 11 and 12 October.
