The Bike Festival was a success but also for the thieves who took part in it: 50 thefts in three days for about € 200.000!

The "Bike Festival" closed its doors last night with the last of three days of events organized by the lake for the colorful people of bikers. The estimated visitors are around 30.000 but there are other numbers that each year draw the growing importance and interest - or rather, the interests, not always legitimate - that revolve around this world-renowned event.

The count of super bicycles that disappear into thin air in the days of the "Bike Festival" is now an inevitable moment in the final balance, but it is also increasingly uncertain given the growing numbers and the different subjects involved. Also this year, for example, it is not possible to establish with certainty the number of complaints received in the three days by the three police forces (carabinieri, police and traffic police). According to an estimate that the police themselves believe absolutely credible and truthful, at least fifty bikes have disappeared. A damage of about 200 thousand euros. In just one day, yesterday, there are about twenty complaints formalized at the police station in via Brione.

Fortunately, the Bike Festival was not only this but a great MTB party with many stands and prestigious brands, without counting the side events. We leave you to a video report with the great Hans Rey.
