The iLynx range is ahead of its time and now demonstrates that BH had been forward-thinking in its commitment to lightweight e-MTBs. After more than a decade of experience in the world of e-bikes, BH has been able to develop a specific motor for this type of bicycle.

The starting point of the two models is very similar. With aesthetic lines clearly inspired by their non-motorized sisters, both models start from a carbon frame made with Hollow Core Internal Molding technology, the same used in BH's best carbon models. Lightness is a fundamental pillar in the conception of these e-MTBs. To such an extent that the frame of the BH iLynx Race weighs just 2.065 grams, making it possible to create models weighing just 16,9 kg in the standard configuration. In the case of the iLynx Trail, the frame weight is 2.200 grams.

In making the BH iLynx Trail, the use of Ballistic carbon fibers was added, with an increase in impact resistance designed for the more aggressive use to which it is intended. An aluminum frame version is also available which allows you to lower the final price and create a wider price range. In line with the more Trail use it will be made of, it features the Super Boost rear axle, 157×12 mm, which allows you to create stronger rear wheels and gain free space for the rear wheel. This allows you to fit tires up to 2,6″. These are the two points (along with a more gravity geometry on the iLynx Trail) that differentiate the two models.
Of course, the Split Pivot suspension system controls the rear wheel with 150mm or 140mm travel on the iLynx Trail and 120mm on the iLynx Race Carbon.
Equipped with the second generation BH2EXMAG engine
The second generation BH2EXMAG motor takes care of providing the extra thrust that allows both models to have an ideal level of assistance for a lightweight e-MTB. Weighing just 2,1kg, it offers a torque of 65Nm, and this second generation has elevated strength and durability to ensure stable performance whatever the usage.

Both bikes are equipped with an integrated 540 Wh battery and the possibility of adding the 180 Wh XPro external battery, which is installed in the bottle cage with an automatic connection and without the need for additional cables, which increases its capacity up to 720 Wh . A sufficient amount to achieve a range of up to 175 km. It has 4 pre-configured assistance modes, where the Boost mode multiplies the effort by 3.

Another highlight of the system is the iRemote controller, with three buttons and a light indicator to quickly check the battery level. Connectivity with the BH iConnect app allows for a large list of customization options to be entered, and the system is able to connect to Garmin devices to display all available information.
BH iLynx Trail and BH iLynx Race range

The two cheapest models in the iLynx Trail lineup feature 140mm of suspension travel, while the rest of the lineup has 150mm of travel.

The BH iLynx Race Carbon range includes 3 models, all with the same carbon frame, 120 mm travel and a first structure at €6.799,9.
