BH goes for the new SRAM Eagle 90 mechanical groupset with the Lynx SLS 8.5

SRAM has made a huge leap forward in mechanical groupsets with the arrival of the new SRAM Eagle 90, which introduces many of the same technological innovations already found in the electronic Eagle Transmission groupsets.

The BH Lynx SLS hit the market last year and, since its launch, has become one of the most outstanding models in the BH MTB range. Used constantly in competition by the BH Coloma Team (even months before its official presentation), it has established itself as an ideal bike both for bikers looking for maximum performance in competitions where it is not necessary to resort to the BH Lynx Race with its 120 mm of travel, and for those who want a comfortable, integrated and efficient bike in pedaling to tackle all types of routes.

The BH Lynx SLS frame was designed to be compatible with mechanical groupsets, and now comes a new configuration with the brand new SRAM Eagle 90. This groupset inherits much of the technology found in the electronic SRAM Eagle Transmission groupsets, especially the mounting system that guarantees unprecedented durability in the MTB world. In addition, it is a gearbox designed to be repaired in the event of a breakdown, with spare parts available for almost all of its parts, making it a solution designed to last the entire life cycle of the bicycle.

From a technical point of view, it also features a gear synchronization system that ensures that the chain always moves to the precise points of the sprocket pack, allowing for smooth gear changes even under maximum effort on the pedals.

Thanks to the use of the new Flattop MTB chain and a new cassette that maintains the same gearing as existing groupsets, with 10-52 teeth, the SRAM Eagle 90 brings the robustness of SRAM electronic groupsets to the world of mechanical groupsets.

The new BH Lynx SLS 8.5 completes its setup with the RockShox SID Base fork with 110 mm of travel, which is combined with the 80 mm rear suspension, managed by the Split Pivot suspension system.

With this new version, the BH Lynx SLS family reaches a total of 5 models. The BH Lynx SLS 8.5 has a price of €5.999,90 and is already available in stores.
