The BH AtomX Carbon 2022 is completely renewed to take even more from the X-System design of its frame; more rigid, lighter and more stylized, it integrates a removable 720 Wh battery and the Brose S Mag motor with a torque of 90 Nm.

As in the past, the shape that outlines the down tube, which joins the upper tube before reaching the head tube, allows a high capacity battery to be placed inside it. On the one hand, it is possible to place the battery in the lowest and most central part possible and on the other hand this allows you to remove it manually in a simple way. The battery of this BH AtomX Carbon is equipped with a new closure integrated in the upper tube, which also allows access to the charging port, this with an absolutely aesthetically clean design.
This arrangement of the battery also made it possible to create the down tube without any cut and with thinner walls to lighten its weight and reduce its size to the maximum. So much so as to be able to lower the section by 18 mm, an aspect that is clearly perceived on a visual level.
The frame of the BH AtomX Carbon is made entirely of carbon. Including the connecting rod of the suspension system. The HCIM (Hollow Core Internal Molding) technology is used that BH applies in high-end carbon frames, a true reference in terms of lightness. In this new version, Ballistic Carbon Layup high modulus carbon fibers are used, which are more resistant to impacts. The result is a frame of just 2.300 grams.
Well aware of the importance of stiffness in an e-MTB frame, the BH AtomX Carbon improves in every respect. Thanks to the shape in which the battery is integrated, the front triangle is 20% stiffer and the head tube area is 80% stiffer. The suspension system inherits technological advances already successfully introduced in other high-end BH models, such as the use of an oversized axle in the main joint and self-centering ball bearings.
More integration and use of traditional water bottles
Integration is another pillar of the BH AtomX Carbon. In addition to the battery integration, the most distinctive aspect is the hidden connecting rod screws to achieve a clean aesthetic in the relevant area. The saddle closure is in turn integrated into the frame and is completely hidden from view.
The frame features fully internal wiring, starting with the head tube. In addition, Across's BlockLock system has been added to avoid hitting the top tube with the handlebar by limiting the rotation angle to 150 °.
The new shapes of the BH AtomX Carbon allow you to use a traditional bottle cage in its proper position on the down tube. In addition, it is possible to use the FIT multi-tool, which is located inside the head tube.
The new BH AtomX Carbon arrives on the market with a revised geometry that integrates a more vertical seat post (76 °) and shorter chainstays (just 454 mm) combined with a less closed head angle (65 °). Furthermore, the SM is added to the three sizes of the previous version.

It is also available in two versions, with travel, of the rear suspension, 140 and 160 mm. The Split Pivot system continues to be present, ideal for its effectiveness when pushing on the pedals as well as for its suspension independence from pedaling and braking.
Improved power and autonomy
The AtomX Carbon is equipped with the Brose S Mag engine, known for its enormous power, capable of offering assistance up to 410%. This engine also offers a generous torque of 90 Nm, to guarantee instant thrust and acceleration and is capable of working at high cadence (from 90 to 120 rpm). It is light (2,9 kg) in relation to the performance offered and allows you to customize the assistance modes through the BH iConnect app.
iRemote and Garmin connectivity
The BH AtomX forgoes the display to use the new iRemote control, minimalist, ergonomic and comfortable. It can count on 3 buttons to switch from one assistance mode to another and to turn the engine on and off. Now it also integrates LED lighting with which you can check the battery level visually when on the move.
If you prefer the screen, the system is designed to connect a Garmin device through which it will be possible to view all the system information (battery, cadence, autonomy, etc.).
Through the BH iConnect app for smartphones it is possible to configure and customize the different assistance modes, adjusting the level of acceleration and power of each.
The range of BH, AtomX Carbon consists of 5 models, with prices starting from € 6.699 and for each one it is possible to customize the colors through the BH Unique program.
