In Spain the weather is getting hot with so many big names that are busy. Team Santa Cruz Rockshox and RDR's Mirko Tabacchi were also present. The Shimano Super Cup Massi held its first Short Track with many names competing for Sunday's XCO.
In the men's race, Henrique Avancini immediately set a very high pace. We recall that Avancini made his debut in competitions with his new team, the Caloi Henrique Avancini Racing Team. The race was very fast but still ended in the sprint with Luca Schwarzbauer unleashing all his power in the final stages. Alan Hatherly completed the podium.
Loana Lecomte started her racing season in the best way: by winning! The Canyon CLLCTV rider was the fastest in the sprint ahead of the 2 Ghost Factory Racing members, Nicole Koller and Anne Terpstra. 4th place for Martina Berta, in excellent shape.
ITALIANS IN THE RACE
Excellent performance by Luca Braidot who finishes in 7th place. 13th Nadir Colledani and 15th Mirko Tabacchi. Among women, in addition to Martina Berta's 4th place, we find Sara Cortinovis in 13th place: let's remember that Sara is in her 2nd year among the U23s so this placement is an excellent result having raced with much more experienced Elite athletes. 24th place for Letizia Marzani (Massi).
