BAM !, the European gathering of bicycle travelers, the largest event dedicated to cycle tourism and adventure in the saddle in Europe, returns to Mantua, from Friday 10 to Sunday 12 June 2022.

Thousands of travelers are expected from all over Italy and abroad, to find themselves sharing their passion for travel and two wheels.
After the two “Campfire” editions, that is to say for hard and pure, with a limited number, in the mountains, both sold-out in a few hours, BAM! it therefore returns to its original form of an open, free and popular event, as is the bicycle: an appointment in which all the souls of the journey meet once a year, from the great explorer to the family, from sportsmen to those who use the bicycle to go far.
The program was announced in these hours: there will be many stories and experiences on stage, but also moments in which to learn something, about digital cartography, mechanics, or how to make products more durable, taking care of the environment in very practical way.
Talking about trips by bike, but also about choices against the current, also the former front man of the Ex-Otago, Maurizio Carucci, who will be in concert at BAM! to present his new solo album on Friday night.
Among the guests, the great American illustrator Jeremy Collins, who will travel for 10 days in Italy by bike and will then recount the experience through his illustrations. Collins will be on stage at BAM! Saturday 11.
Dino Lanzaretti, fresh from an incredible trip to the coldest region in the world, in Siberia, will tell his experience and his point of view on climate change; Willy Mulonia, one of the most experienced bicycle travelers for 20 years, with trips around the world behind him, will share his winter trip to Alaska. Ugandan John Bosco Balongo will explain his Great African Cycling Safari, a journey that has become a tourism project born in East Africa around the bicycle.
Serena Cugno, mother and traveler, will bring her travel experience with children to the stage, an inspirational theme for many.
We will then talk about Flanders, one of the most welcoming cycling destinations in Europe, together with the Enough Cycling team.
Many other stories are also on stage, including great journeys and inspiring personal experiences.
KONA Film Night is also scheduled for the first time on Friday and Saturday, with the screening of a selection of biking and exploration adventure films.
Space then for workshops, technical meetings, tastings, but also live music, which will be the leitmotif of the event.
The most important companies in the sector will be present in the village, from big brands to artisan producers, with their proposals dedicated to adventure and travel by bicycle. A few meters away is the large camp area, where the travelers of the BAM! they will be able to pitch their tent, exceptionally in front of the lakes of Mantua.
The BAM! however, it begins well before, when travelers leave home: the participants are in fact invited, every year, to leave by bike towards Mantua, sharing the road with old and new friends: an idea that pushes hundreds of people to cycle for days, to then find yourself pitching your tent under the same sky, facing the wonderful lakes of the city.
