The Grand Raid BCVS is one of the races with the most history (32nd edition) and the hardest in the UCI calendar with its 5000m of altitude! Departure logistics in Verbier, an alpine village in the canton of Valais, Switzerland and arrival in Grimentz.

In the last 35 km there are 1.845 meters of elevation gain with the dreaded Pas de Lona. The last big climb, where you have to overcome more than 1.400 meters in altitude and where the last 250 meters in altitude must be done with a nice portage, through a trekking path that leads to the highest point of the climb, almost 2.800 meters high. Let's imagine the fatigue after all these kilometers and hours of running.

WOMEN RACE
Claudia Peretti (Olympia Factory), bronze in the last XCM European Championship, won the women's race with a disarming superiority. Time of 7:31:32, almost 20 minutes ahead of Estelle Morel and almost half an hour ahead of Costanza Fasolis, another Italian in the RDR team.
