Andalucia Bike Race: Wilier Pirelli wins the 2nd stage!

Fabian Rabensteiner and Wout Alleman leave everyone on the spot at the 2nd stage of the Andalucia Bike Race. Among the women, Katazina Sosna and Irina Luetzelschwav (Torpado Factory) excel.

On paper the longest stage (54km) but with a not too demanding altitude difference (1.425m). Today the Wilier Pirelli duo, formed by the European champion Fabian Rabensteiner e Wout Alleman, dominated the race.

Of note is the excellent race of the duo Taddei Factory Chiarini and Failli who finish in 3rd place, preceded by another team of Italian origin, namely the DMT Racing Team directed by Andrea Marconi, with Andreas Militiadis and Tiago Ferreira.

In seventh place, Diego Rose e Dominic Valerio (Taddei Factory team 2). Nibali and Santaromita have not arrived, it seems for a fall of Ivan Santaromita (nothing serious for him).

ELITE WOMEN

Lithuanian champion Katazine Sosna, athlete of the Torpado Factory, won together with Irina Luetzelschwab (Bulls Bike). After yesterday's third place, they won today to take first place overall. Clare Burato e Constance Fasolis they finished in 4th place.

NEXT STOP

A tough stage is announced on Wednesday: 3 climbs with GPM at 1.451 metres. 64km for 2.233m of elevation gain. Now Wilier Pirelli 1 is aiming straight for the jersey, but the Italian hopes are also for the Taddei Factory.
