E-MTBIKE: THE ELECTRIC MOUNTAIN BIKE LANDS IN SAN ZENO in the province of Verona
On Saturday 30 April in San Zeno di Montagna, in the province of Verona, the first shop for the rental of pedal assisted bikes was opened. This is unique in Italy, since it is a shop exclusively dedicated to the world of the so-called "e-bike". In fact, bike rentals or shops dedicated to two wheels usually deal with both products: electric and muscular. The promise of the owners is that a simple "click" will be enough to overcome your limits and ride in complete safety and fun on the slopes of Monte Baldo and in the off-road areas that line Lake Garda!
The "E-MTBike" shop was born from the idea of two Veronese sportsmen, Fabrizio Cesamolo and Montresor Alberto, ski trainers and instructors, both lovers of two wheels, who were inspired by sports experiences refined abroad in countries where the tourism on two wheels is highly developed.
The rental shop in San Zeno will offer the opportunity to try the new 2016 models of the HaiBike brand, the German market leader for silent, light and performing electric mountain bikes, for a few hours or for a whole day; various models of the “Sduro” series will be available, equipped with Shimano gearbox, Suntour fork and shock absorber, Tektro brakes and Yamaha engine.
To understand the difference between the normal pedaling bike (or muscle) and the e-bike it is necessary to think that the peculiarity of the latter is that the motor does not replace the pedal stroke (as happens for example for motorcycles or mopeds) but helps to do less effort! The motor applied to the bike can have 3 levels of assistance (High, Standard, Eco) and, if used properly together with the ratios, allow you to travel a long way and tackle up to 2000 meters of altitude.
The discovery of the beautiful Garda-Baldo area can also be done with guided tours, with the mountain-bike guides of the "E-MTBike" shop or it will be possible to rent Garmin Gps with various ring routes already loaded around the peaks of Monte Baldo. and on the shores of Lake Garda.
