Amaury Pierron breaks his collarbone: stop period

Amaury Pierron revealed on social media that he broke his collarbone. In the bad luck of having broken it in a period of full "off-season".

After a fantastic 2022 season where won the general cup, Amaury Pierron did not start the preparation towards 2023 on the right foot: Amaury, in an undisclosed condition, broke his collarbone and has already been operated on. Now he is starting his recovery before being able to get back on the bike to prepare for 2023. The first DH stop will be on June 9th, so there is plenty of time to fully heal and train.

Here we go again… Broken collarbone. Definitely not the news I was looking for. But that's what it is. And once again, I've learned my lesson… Now enforced rest. The surgery went well and I am looking forward to the adventure. The off season was great fun, thanks for the good times my friends and see you soon. Sorry to my dear partners but I will be back in no time — Amaury Pierron

We wish Amaury all the best for a speedy recovery.
