FIRST STEP

COGNE - CHAMPORCHER - FORTE DI BARD - GRESSONEY-LA-TRINITÈ

After a short timed test to be held on 5 July to define the starting order, the first stage, 46 kilometers and 1.550 meters in altitude, will begin at 9:30 am from Cogne, whose most important point is high is the Champorcher Window, at 2.826 meters. To give grit to the first day there will also be a time trial called "the strongest of the Fort", a sprint of 700 meters with 75 meters of positive difference in height to be held in the Bard Fort, the splendid monumental complex of the early nineteenth century.

SECOND STAGE

GRESSONEY-LA-TRINITÈ - VAL D'AYAS - ANTENEY-SAINT-ANDRÉ

The second stage will start at 8:30 from Gressoney-La-Trinitè, will be 57 kilometers long and will have a positive difference in height of 2.416 meters. Bikers will cross the Ru Courtod, a medieval aqueduct, created to irrigate the Val d'Ayas and the town of Saint-Vincent. For this section the front pillar will be mandatory to overcome the 14 hand-dug tunnels present in the last section.

For the third stage we will always start at 8:30 from Antey-Saint-André: the track will have a positive difference in height of 2.321 meters and will be 44 kilometers long. The climbs of the route, which lead to Col de Chaleby, at 2.516 m and Col de Vessonaz, at 2.775 m, are very demanding, with sections in which it will be necessary to proceed pushing your e-mountain bike. From the Col de Vessonaz an exciting technical descent of 1.500 meters will start, which will end in Oyace, where the finish line of the test is set and finally, with a short transfer on asphalt you will reach the All Around Camp in Valpelline.

At the age of 18 I passed into the cross country competing at national/international level as an Under23. Past Elite, I made the choice to take things more lightly from a training point of view, and my love for gravity disciplines was born, training me as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made passion my profession by managing 2 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Bike Center Elba and Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
