Alex Lupato leaves Lapierre

Lupato, after several years on the saddle of Lapierre, has decided to change the brand for 2015 but it is a goodbye since the roads in the future could be reunited given the complicity and esteem between Cristian Trippa, FRM president, and Romano Favoino, marketing R11 . Since 365mountainbike is a paper magazine, the answer on Alex's next destination can be found in the next issue of 365mountainbike coming out at Christmas.

After 5 years of an intense relationship full of successes, in 2015 the duo Alex Lupato / Lapierre will dissolve. Alex's need to have new stimuli in the international arena and the different marketing objectives of R11 focused on the Italian market push both to take different paths.

Supported first through the dealer Lapierre Rosas Bike and later within the FRM Factory Racing team, Alex has linked his name in enduro to the Lapierre brand, racing at the beginning on the Froggy and later on the Spicy, with some appearances on the DH .

Alex Lupato: << I owe a lot to R11 in Alan and Romano's people because they were the first to believe in me and in my potential. Thanks to their support and that of Lapierre I started to take my first steps in enduro and I managed to realize one of my biggest dreams, to win the Italian title! Heartfelt thanks. >>

Romano Favoino - marketing manager R11: < >

Cristian Trippa - FRM Factory Racing team manager: << I believe that the doors never close forever. With Romano and Alan there is a relationship that goes beyond the normal Team-Sponsor synergy, because we are above all friends. If you become part of the Lapierre world it is then difficult to make a different choice, but sometimes in life, some decisions are necessary to grow and perhaps return to the point of origin more strengthened. As President of FRM Factory Racing Team I also thank all the R11 staff for the passion shown towards us. Thanks! >>

For the 2015 season, R11 will continue its strategy of supporting a roaster of young talents through the Lapierre dealers, giving them performing bikes and all the necessary support so that they can pursue their goals and collect increasingly important results.

Lupato will be on MDE Bikes for 2015
