In June we had the opportunity to visit the northern part of Calabria stopping in Corigliano Rossano (CS) on the occasion of the e-Day Race stage. Splendid scenery and a pleasant mood: lots of hospitality and a less hectic life than in other places.
Some of you will know the tracks in the Sila National Park (splendid) but also in other areas of Calabria we can find bread for our teeth or, better said, land for our mountain bikes.
These areas are not teeming with mountains used for bike use with bike parks and built tracks, but for lovers of nature trails and nature in general, there is a lot to go around.
TRACK E-DAY RACE
Certainly, if you ride in these areas, my advice is to contact a local guide as we do not find situations with tables dedicated to bikes. One of the most active companies in the area is Corigliano Bike, with Ezio who also manages a shop with its rental point (Clementine Bike). If you need to stay overnight, always in the area you can find the Camping Thurium, bike-friendly and overlooking the sea.
