It is from a "bridge of relationships" that the Acquaman Bikevent project, an event, was born
non-competitive which arises from the desire of the CDA (Dario Acquaroli Committee) to transform the friendship, gratitude and esteem towards a Friend who has given a lot to cycling into something concrete.
Many people are involved in this project who, for various reasons, found themselves "orphans" on 9 April 2023 of an untimely death, but at the same time they felt strongly united to give continuity to an idea of beautiful, healthy, engaging, proactive cycling that Dario has always supported and proposed.
ROUTES
There will be two routes. Starting point is San Pellegrino Terme in the heart of Val Brembana and then pedaling on the famous cycle path that takes you to the heart of the suggestive Upper Town of Bergamo. A track that continually changes surface and style, going from cobblestones to country roads to fast single tracks in the woods...a marvel! Approximately the long one will be around 80 km and 1100 meters of altitude difference while the short one will be under 50 km.
Location
San Pellegrino Terme is the birthplace of Dario Acquaroli. It is located in the heart of Val Brembana, less than 30 minutes from the A4 Bergamo exit. The country of the most famous soft drinks and sparkling water in the world. Although there will be no shortage of delicious beer for the event!
