The echoes of the WHOOP UCI Mountain Bike World Series still resonate in the mountains of the Aosta Valley, but in La Thuile the show continues. Summer kicks into high gear with an even more powerful and comprehensive offering and, above all, with news that's sure to make waves: the new mountain bike track. Downhill built for the World Cup is open to the public.

A rare novelty in the international panorama: a World Cup level track accessible even to expert bikers for riding individuals, as well as professionals, teams and companies for training and material testing.
Tested by the best riders in the world and judged as one of the most spectacular on the World Cup circuit, the track Downhill The La Thuile slope is 2,3 km long with a 640 m elevation gain. It made its World Cup debut on July 6th, creating an exciting competition and race thanks to a unique and characteristic alternation between constructed and natural sections, steep, with plenty of counter-slopes where virtually no pedal strokes are needed from top to bottom.
The course, one of the most technical ever tackled in the World Cup, will thrill every rider who takes on the challenge. For safety reasons, key features such as the road gaps and the final jump will remain closed, but alternative chicken lines are planned to allow for safe passage without detracting from the epic nature of the course.
The Bosco Express chairlift ensures rapid ascents, making the slope perfect for making the most of every minute with multiple consecutive runs: an ideal solution also for training sessions, tests, and activities with teams and companies in the sector.
With the Bosco Express and Chalet Express facilities open until 07/09/2025, the La Thuile Natural Trail Area offers a top-level trail network, which includes:
- Over 10 high-level Enduro trails
- A track from Downhill
- Road itineraries towards the Little St. Bernard Pass and Colle San Carlo
- Cross-border off-road loop itinerary from La Thuile to La Rosière, suitable for e-bikes.
- Training camp and mountain bike school with Velosolution-approved pump track, dual slalom, skill park and mini dirt line
- Few places in the world can boast such a comprehensive and varied bike offering. And even fewer can claim to have a true World Cup track open to the public.
La Thuile thus positions itself among the leading destinations of the downhill international, offering a technical and spectacular competition field that can stimulate the entire Italian movement and help train new generations of athletes.
La Thuile is ready to write a new chapter in Italian mountain biking, confirming itself not only as an event location, but as a reference point for the evolution of gravity offerings.
