In a recent social media post, Laurie stated that he is “unbranded” for the time being and will not race for most of the 2026 World Cup season. The announcement will be a disappointment for fans of the sport, as Laurie has been such an exciting rider to follow over the years.
In the video she shared on Instagram, Laurie is not wearing a Red Bull helmet and has no sponsors in her bio.
Other than that, it seems to move almost as well on the surfboard as it does on the mountain bike.
…going back to basics, unbranded pedals and flats for now. I have something fun planned, hopefully with a slightly different approach to what we all know and love. For now, I'll take it slowly and discover a pure passion for cycling. I won't be racing for most of the 2026 World Cup season.
