The Kronplatz Outdoor Center, based in Riscone di Brunico at the foot of Plan de Corones, reopens May 16th with a program that goes far beyond simple trail access. The goal is to create a complete experience, capable of supporting bikers throughout their day and, above all, at every stage of their development.
THE BIKE PARK IS JUST THE TIP OF THE ICEBERG
The Kronplatz Bike Park boasts 18 trails spanning over 35 kilometers, served by 5 ski lifts that take you up to an altitude of 2.275 meters.
Important numbers, but they only tell part of the story.
The real work is the daily grind. The quality of a bike park depends first and foremost on the care taken over the trails and the ability to offer fun, progressive routes suitable for riders of varying experience levels. It's on this ground that the Kronplatz staff is building an increasingly solid reputation.
But the attention doesn't stop at the trails. There's constant customer care, from arrival at the center until the end of the day, with rentals of e-bikes, mountain bikes, and cross-country bikes. downhill, helmets and protections, an internal workshop with specialized mechanics and a shop dedicated to spare parts and technical clothing.

OVER 1.000 KILOMETERS TO DISCOVER
The Bike Park remains one of the main protagonists, but the area offers much more.
Around Kronplatz, there are over 1.000 kilometers of trails through valleys, forests, and high-altitude Dolomite landscapes. You can cycle along the Puster Valley cycle path, choose family-friendly itineraries, or climb to the plateaus of the Fanes-Senes-Braies Nature Park.
There is no shortage of more panoramic options, such as the route through the Rienza Gorge to the Angerer Alm.
And this is where the value of guides comes in. The itinerary isn't simply chosen from a list, but built based on the rider or group's level, expectations, and goals.
KRONAKTIV 2026: NOT JUST BIKES
From June 1st to October 17th, Kronaktiv returns, the weekly program that expands the Kronplatz Outdoor Center's offerings beyond the world of two wheels.
The calendar includes mountain excursions, climbing, family activities, wellness experiences, and moments linked to local culture.
Children up to 12 years old participate free of charge and the program is included among the benefits of the Kronplatz Guest Pass Brunico, available at participating accommodations in the Brunico tourist region.
A PROJECT THAT CONTINUES TO GROW
The success of an MTB destination is not built solely on new trails or large numbers.
