The flavors of the Italian Food Valley and the enchanting landscapes of the Parma Valleys are about to return as protagonists of a new unforgettable gravel experience.
Gravel Gourmet, the event that combines cycling tourism and taste, returns to the calendar in 2024, after the cancellation of the 2023 edition due to the flood that hit Emilia-Romagna last spring.
The appointment for lovers of good food and gravel bikes to be experienced as a means of discovering the beauties of the area is for Saturday 11th and Sunday 12th May 2024. The landscapes of the municipalities of the Pedemontana del Parma Union will be the theater of an all-day the sign of the all-Emilian Slow Mix. The municipalities of Collecchio, Felino, Sala Baganza and Traversetolo are indeed relaunching the invitation for an event that combines gravel routes, wonderful landscapes and unmistakable flavors with delicious snacks proposed by local producers, restaurateurs and chefs.

The Gravel Gourmet format is confirmed over two days, with a first tasty appetizer scheduled for Saturday 11th May followed by the main event on Sunday 12th. The Valleys of Parma are the center of the production of Parmigiano Reggiano and Parma Ham, but also the home of excellences such as Felino salami, tomato puree, pasta, Lambrusco and Malvasia, all products that can be tasted in the snacks that have made Gravel Gourmet famous, organized by ASD Happy Trail MTB in collaboration with the local realities.
This year too, participants will be able to choose between routes suitable for different levels of training and preparation, but the beauty of Gravel Gourmet is that you pedal without haste: between one snack and another, there is always time for a chat, a photo, or to be enchanted by nature and scents.
REGISTRATIONS STARTING FROM 18 DECEMBER
Registrations for the 2024 edition of Gravel Gourmet will officially open on Monday 18 December 2023 on the website www.gravel-gourmet.com. Those who want to register will have the opportunity to choose between different packages, taking part in both days or just the one on Sunday.
For those who have already registered for the 2023 edition there is the possibility of confirming their registration, at no additional cost, by 29 February 2024. If, however, they are unable to take part in the 2024 edition there is the possibility of transferring your membership with a name change, also in this case without additional costs.
For those who sign up for the first time, there is a window at a discounted price (€55 for Sunday, €85 for the entire weekend) which will end on 31 January 2024, or when the first 50 issues are sold out. available. Starting from 1 February 2024 the price will increase to €75 for Sundays and €105 for weekends.
Included in the price are the possibility to choose between five routes (two on Saturday and three on Sunday), six gourmet snacks (two on Saturday and four on Sunday), mechanical support service, bike wash, gift bag and sponsor gadgets, photo shoot EnduPix and transport service for gastronomic purchases made along the route.
Furthermore, for those who want to live the experience with a non-pedaling companion, it will be possible to purchase dedicated packages, with the opportunity to visit the Food Museums of the Parma Valleys and taste the delicacies offered in the snacks.
