DJI Experience Day: Milan hosts the largest DJI event ever held in Italy.

DJI debuts with the largest event ever held in Italy at the Allianz Cloud in Milan. Featuring FPV drones, 360° action cams, Amflow e-bikes, and new outdoor technologies, 365 Mountainbike shares its experience and explains why DJI has become a solid choice for producing its own video and photography content.

On May 7th, the largest DJI event ever organized in Italy took place at the Allianz Cloud in Milan. The event attracted creators, pilots, technology enthusiasts, and image professionals thanks to Nital SpA, DJI's official distributor for Italy.

For an entire day, it was possible to see, touch, and above all try out a large part of the DJI ecosystem: from drones to action cams, from smartphone stabilizers and mirrorless cameras to audio systems and new tools dedicated to the action and outdoor world.

Test area: action cams, drones, and adventure world

The event was divided into two main areas. The first was dedicated to the display and testing of products for on-the-ground filming, with a particular focus on the latest innovations that are increasingly popular in the world of biking and adventure.

There is great curiosity around the new single-lens and 360° action cams, but above all around the drones with advanced tracking and subject recognition functions, tools that are completely changing the way we talk about outings, trips and riding.

For the occasion, DJI action cameras were installed with dedicated accessories on three Honda models — CRF300L, Transalp and Africa Twin — thanks to the collaboration with the guys from the Honda True Adventure Academy, who already use these systems during their training activities and adventure tours.

Amflow and the new Avinox M2S engine

There was also space for the world of e-bikes with the presence of Amflow, which brought its e-bikes equipped with the new Avinox M2S motor.

A system that has already attracted attention for its performance and technological integration and which, remember, is still part of the DJI universe. A product we hope to soon be able to test directly here on 365 Mountainbike.

The allure of FPV flight

The second area was dedicated to the flight experience. A veritable obstacle course where visitors could test out FPV drones and models designed for both freestyle and advanced consumer use.

Among the protagonists are the DJI Avata and the areas dedicated to mini races with the Neo2, in a safe environment supervised by the DJI Italy team.

For many participants, it was their first real flight experience. And let's be clear: the allure of drones continues to be enormous, both for the public and for those of us who work every day producing outdoor content.

Also leading the test area was “Super Joe”, a driver from the Nital team, who was able to demonstrate with extreme naturalness how these tools can become today, yet at the same time spectacular when used by expert hands.

Why DJI has become a solid choice for 365 Mountainbike too

In recent years, DJI has also become a concrete choice for the production of our video and photographic content.

A personal decision, not tied to sponsorships or partnerships, but simply to the quality of the images and the completeness of the ecosystem the brand has managed to build.

For those like me who often travel alone by bike, without a crew in tow—both for logistical and time reasons—having lightweight, reliable, and easy-to-use tools completely changes the way I report on a trip or a test.

From the new Osmo 360, which you can read the review of HERE, to FPV drones, through the Osmo Pocket 4 that I recently started to get to know and that you will soon see on 365 Mountainbike, up to the entire range of flying cameras capable of letting you experience a descent almost live: DJI today has built a truly impressive action ecosystem.

Outdoor technology and storytelling

A system that also allows independent creators to greatly increase the quality of their content without having to manage complicated productions or equipment that is impossible to transport on a bike or motorbike trip.

Now all that's left is to put all this technology to the test in the field. Perhaps during an adventure trip, an extreme test, or a long e-bike ride.

Because in the end, the concept is always the same: have fun, share real emotions, and don't miss a single shot.
