Australian photographer Krystle Wright has made history in the world's largest adventure and action sports photography competition, becoming the first female photographer in Red Bull Illume's 17-year history to take home the top prize.
More than 50 renowned judges chose her incredible shot of climber Angela VanWiemeersch illuminated in a crack, deep in Long Canyon, Utah, USA as the outstanding image on display at the winner's awards ceremony in Sölden, Austria.
Red Bull Illume showcases the most creative and captivating adventure and action sports images on the planet, highlighting the passion, lifestyle and culture behind the photographers who capture them.
