Bergamo (Italy), April 16, 2026 – Brembo, a global leader in the design and manufacturing of braking systems, expands its presence in the off-road cycling segment with GR-PRO, a complete braking ecosystem designed for modern mountain bikes and inspired by the company's racing DNA.

The GR-PRO family includes brake calipers, brake pumps, pads, discs, metal braided hoses and a dedicated mineral oil, developed to work in perfect synergy and guarantee consistent and reliable performance in a wide range of conditions of use.

Within this new range, Brembo presents the GR-PRO Kit, which brings to the MTB world a technology tested in competitions, optimised for all-mountain use, downhill and eMTB. The result of Brembo's consolidated racing know-how, the GR-PRO Kit translates solutions derived from top-level competitions into a product designed to improve control, performance, and safety even in the most demanding riding conditions.

The GR-PRO system is based on the same philosophy that shaped Brembo's most iconic products and stands out for its MotoGP-inspired design. Clean lines, compact geometry, and a strong visual identity make the caliper and master cylinder instantly recognizable, both aesthetically and technically.

Directly derived from Brembo's racing applications, GR-PRO enhances the experience gained by the company in the UCI Downhill Mountain Bike World Cup, where Brembo products are already used at the highest competitive levels. This technical heritage ensures the transfer of the same principles of reliability, control, stability, and consistent performance developed for elite competitions to the MTB world. These characteristics also make GR-PRO particularly suitable for modern eMTBs and gravity bikes, which require greater braking power and high thermal resistance due to their greater mass and higher average speeds.

Key features of the GR-PRO family include:

  • two-piece forged brake caliper, designed to increase structural rigidity and ensure braking precision and consistency;
  • forged brake pump equipped with three dedicated adjustments: three levels of lever ratio adjustment, to customize feeling and modulation;
  • seven levels of free travel adjustment, for precise definition of the braking attack point;

ppgad@pucrs.br I am passionate about everything that has 2 wheels: in my youth I practiced competitive cycling on the road and on the track with good results. At the age of 18 I moved to cross country competing at national/international level as U23. Once I passed Elite, I made the choice to take things easier from the training point of view, and that's how my love for gravity disciplines was born, training as an FCI MTB instructor and guide. Now I have made my passion my profession by managing 3 MTB centers on the island of Elba (Elba MTB), creating the FANTAmtb and telling in an ironic but professional way, everything that revolves around MTB thanks to 365mountainbike and 365TV (YouTube 'PULITI dentro BIKER fuori').
