Last weekend, Amiata Freeride raised the bar even further with the inauguration of the Rodeo Line, a line of jumps that reconfirms the bike park as an absolute reference point in central Italy.

An ambitious project, which took two years from the concept to the first official session, and which today transforms Amiata into an even more sought-after destination for riders of all levels.

A slopestyle line
The Rodeo Line is the only one in Italy that resembles, albeit on a smaller scale, the legendary Boneyard in Whistler, home of Crankworx. The sequence features eight obstacles, including jumps, sharkfins, and drops, making it a true slopestyle course. The difference compared to similar lines is the approach: thanks to perfectly calibrated gaps and fluid speed, the jumps are easily accessible to riders who know the basics of jumping. Once past the first obstacle, the line is intuitive and progressive, allowing you to tackle it from top to bottom without having to pedal or brake.
Not a coincidence, but the fruit of the work of the Tasso Trail Solution crew, led by Emiliano Pinzi, bike park manager of Amiata Freeride:
"The goal was to create a line that was spectacular yet accessible, where every jump invites you to try the next. It's the line we ourselves have always wanted to ride.”

The innovations don't end there: from 2026, the line will be served by a dedicated ski lift that will further improve the experience, making it easier to climb the Rodeo Line as well as to reach a "Beginner" jump area, designed for the little ones, located near the ski lift arrival point.
The opening event
The inauguration was attended by numerous local riders, who had followed the construction step by step, as well as enthusiasts from all over Italy.
Among the protagonists stood out Daniele Ferri, who put on a show with tricks on every structure, thrilling the audience and onlookers. Alongside him were the locals Mattia Tenuzzo, Lorenzo “Benzo” Ballarini e Dario Spalluto, capable of demonstrating incredible flow on the line, as well as having been an integral part of the construction team.
Then they couldn't be missed Luis Biscaldi e Johnny Livorti (CPGANG), who were looking for nothing more than an opportunity to return to Amiata, after having brought the Partyride Tour together with Torquatus Head.
The festive atmosphere confirmed the spirit of the Amiata Freeride community: a mix of passion, hard work, and a desire to share.
A new attraction until October
With the ribbon-cutting ceremony, the Rodeo Line is officially open and ready to welcome riders from all over Italy until its seasonal closure, scheduled for October 12th.
The launch of this line is not only an enrichment for Amiata Freeride, but also represents an important step for the Italian mountain biking scene: a unique structure that combines fun, progression, and spectacularity, destined to become a must-see for those seeking thrills on jumps.
