Over 440 e-mtb enthusiasts and 20 journalists from all over Europe celebrated the fifth edition of the THOK Tribe over the weekend of 12-14 May. The gathering attracted fans of the brand and the "cousins" of Ducati's pedalable two-wheelers to Castiglione della Pescaia, on the coast of the Tuscan Maremma, whose models are also designed and manufactured by THOK. Bikers from all over Italy joined the Tribe.
All together the faces of the THOK staff, including the CEO Stefano Migliorini, the co-founder Livio Suppo, Stefania De Toma (marketing manager of THOK, the true soul of this event) and the Italian off-road legend Pippo Marani, spent 3 days with the brand's customers, sharing rides on the trails, meals and life stories.
CASTIGLIONE DELLA PESCAIA
The 2023 edition was held in the enchanting scenery of the Camping Village Rocchette e Holy ointment, a bike-friendly beachside resort immersed in the Maremma and accustomed to welcoming bikers, thanks to its proximity to the paths that cross the enchanting pine forests of the Grosseto area and with the numerous e-mtb tracks in the region.

The THOKers were able to choose between accommodation in bungalows or glamping, or even arrive directly with their own camper and settle in the camping area which also housed their 4-legged friends. There is a bike wash, maps with QR codes that guide you to the main trails, a swimming pool or equipped beach and late check-out, to allow everyone to take a shower before setting off again after Sunday's "raid".

Peterhansel, Boulanger and Eydallin: the testimonials
The event was also attended by some of THOK's testimonials: the 14-time Dakar winner Stéphane Peterhansel with his co-pilot Edouard Boulanger, also a Dakar winner, and the 6-time ski mountaineering world champion Matteo Eydallin.
Excused absences: the motorcyclist Danilo Petrucci, the first in history capable of winning both in MotoGP and in the Dakar, urgently recalled by Ducati Corse to replace the injured Bastianini and race the Le Mans grand prix; the aviator Dario Costa engaged in a Red Bull event; Loris Capirossi also engaged in Le Mans.
The innovative aerospace prototype technology
THOK will develop new full-suspended projects with an aerospace technology where we could see this technology on a Thok 3D printed alloy prototype.
The prototype seen at Thok Tribe was made using the SLM (Selective Laser Melting) technique, a technique that had never before been used in the bicycle sector. Advantages? One above all being able to create working prototypes in a very short time through which to carry out tests.
