The sun does not shine on the 4enduro circuit; in fact, after the storm that forced the organizers of Oasi Zegna to completely review the route; Pogno also had to partially submit to the will of Jupiter Pluvius. The heavy rains on Friday made the new line impractical, forcing the Gufi staff to review Stage 3, returning to the classic 'Pogno. But the bizarre weather has decided to persist again in the Cusian area; on Sundays at about 14.30pm a real hell of water, hail, thunder and lightning broke out; which forced the organizers to definitively cancel the third race.

More than 350 starters, a sign that enduro competitions are experiencing a phase of important numerical expansion. Many young people from the beginners and students categories; a heritage that must be cultivated and guided in the best way, to ensure that future specialty champions can emerge from the numbers.

The race

The concomitance of the first stage of the ews reduced the challenge for the victory to two athletes, Raimondi and Berta. The two Matteo at the end will find themselves divided by 1 ”78centesimi, with the victory smiling at the Team Locca color bearer. Behind them Simone Pelissero; fourth an amateur of excellence, that is Marco Milivinti and in fifth position the young Martino Lani, more and more convincing in his performances.

In the women's field the victory went to Laura Rossin, second the young Aosta Valley Emilie Polo and third place Vittoria Spada.

The pink podium

Pogno confirms itself as a place of reference in the enduro scene and beyond; the paths continue to find the placet of the riders who frequent them even outside the race days. Of all I like to point out the 2000; iconic descent that despite the years and the evolution of the vehicles, continues to maintain a respectable technical level.

Race-ready mountain bike frame and handlebars, race number 136, with visible suspension and cable details.

But it is time to look to the future and to mark the date of July 17, when the 4enduro caravan will stop in Val Vigezzo. It will be the Piana di Vigezzo with its alpine trails to host bikers for the first time; in what will certainly be a competition capable of enhancing the technical skills of all the participants
